Motor Pool Sergeant
Heart attacked blamed in death

 


SSG George L Branch
Died January 1997

 

SP/5 Walter Coleman

Died Feb. 2006
After suffering a long illness

 

 

Maj. Gary Gillette
Died April 16, 1996
S-3 HQ 2/56 ADA Pirmasens
  He passed away due to cancer and was 56.He retired at Ft Bliss in December 1983 as a LTC.
  He always spoke highly of 2/56 and seem very proud to have been a part of that unit.

 

 

SSG Jerry D. Popp
Died March 11, 1988,
4 weeks after the doctors discovered that he had cancer.
He is buried in the little town of Impflingen
just down the hill from Bravo.

 

1 SGT Scott Elroy Powell
Died 1986
Suffered a heart attack while jogging at Fort Bliss.He
had received orders for Germany
 and was on leave at the time, before reporting to his new duty station.

 

SP/4 Roger Williams
Died 1986 of lung cancer
Was at Bravo in 1965-1968

 


SP/4 Harry (Red) Whitaker
Died Aug 03,2005
