How about the first day I was asssigned to the IFC and meet my new section chief. Dam what a prankster. As part of first day of duties he sent my all over the place looking for OD green roofing nails to fix the roof. Went to the motor pool and they laughed their asses off at me. Well being slow minded to catch on, I went to my room changed into civilian clothes and went downtown looking for them. Wouldn't ya know those are not for sale in Germany. So I got plastered on bier. LOL Next day, the section chief SSG Carter didn't buy that one. Cost me 50 sandbags WTF...........Was the start of the best tour of duty ever.....
